Wintrust (“Sponsor”) Official Sweepstakes Rules
 

1. NO PURCHASE OR BANK TRANSACTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or transaction does not increase your chances of winning. Need not be a customer of Wintrust Financial Corporation to enter; becoming a customer will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

2. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to those 18 and over. Sweepstakes not open to residents of FL, NY, or RI. Employees of Wintrust Financial Corporation, its affiliates, and their relatives are not eligible to participate.

3. To enter: Sweepstakes period is defined in the Prompt Post (‘Sweepstakes Period’). Participants may enter the sweepstakes via Instagram, as described in below, during the Sweepstakes Period to submit 1 sweepstakes entry. Not responsible for late entries. One entry per form; limit 1 entry per person. Instagram: To enter via Instagram, you must have a valid Instagram account and be a follower of @Wintrust. From your Instagram account and prior to the deadline, post an Instagram comment (“Entry Post”) that complies with the instructions specified in the Prompt Post and these Official Rules to receive one (1) sweepstakes entry. Your Entry Post must remain publicly posted through the duration of the sweepstakes and must comply with the Content Restrictions (as set forth below) and Instagram’s Terms of Service and Rules and Policies, available at help.instagram.com. All information submitted via the Instagram platform is subject to Instagram’s Privacy Policy, accessible at help.instagram.com, and Instagram’s Terms of Service and Instagram Rules and Policies. If you do not have an Instagram account, you may register for one, for free, at instagram.com. Data and usage rates may apply to the download and use of the Instagram mobile application. The time of receipt of any Instagram entry shall be the time such entry is made available to Sponsor via the Instagram platform. Sponsor’s computer shall be the official clock of the sweepstakes. Any entries that do not comply with the Content Restrictions or otherwise with these Official Rules and any that are removed or hidden prior to the prize drawing date are void. Failure to follow any sweepstakes instructions provided by the Official Instagram Account or these Official Rules may result in disqualification.

4. Prizes: Number of prizes, what winners will receive, and an estimated retail value described in Prompt Post. Prizes will be delivered via address collected upon sweepstakes entry from Instagram Direct Message communication.

5. Prize restrictions: Prizes are non-transferable. Federal, state, and local taxes, and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of the prize not specified, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The estimated retail value of each prize is described in the prompt post; and prizes are not IRS 1099-INT reportable. Winners may make no substitution/transfer of prize. Limit 1 prize per person.

6. Drawing: To be held at the end of the Sweepstakes Period described in Prompt Post. Prizewinners will be determined from entries. Determination will be conducted at Wintrust Financial Corporation, 9700 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 550, Rosemont, IL 60018.

7. Odds: Odds of being selected as a sweepstakes winner will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

8. Winner Notification/Prize Awards: Winners will be notified by Instagram Direct Message within 48 hours of the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Winners may need to submit information confirming their eligibility. For a complete list of winners, please mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to Wintrust Financial Corporation, 9700 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 550, Rosemont, IL 60018.

9. Additional Terms: By participating, entrants agree: 1) the decision of the Sponsor shall be final in all respects; 2) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the sweepstakes, and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize. By accepting a prize, winners agree to, where legal, the use of their names and/or likenesses for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation or consideration.

10. Limitations of Liability: Sponsor is not responsible for the printing of or typographical errors in any sweepstakes-related materials or for entries that are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

12. Email Marketing: By entering, you acknowledge Wintrust and its affiliates may send you news, event information, and marketing communications via email. You can, at any time and free of charge, choose not to receive those email communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link within the email, or by opting out at wintrust.com/privacy. Opting out of receiving email communications will not affect your chances of winning.
