Wintrust Financial Corporation (“Sponsor”) Official Sweepstakes Rules

1. NO PURCHASE OR BANK TRANSACTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or transaction does not increase your chances of winning. Need not be a customer of Wintrust Financial Corporation to enter; becoming a customer will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.   

2. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to those 18 and over. Sweepstakes not open to residents of FL, NY, or RI. Employees of Wintrust Financial, its affiliates, and their relatives are not eligible to participate.

3. To enter: Sweepstakes begins on July 6, 2023 and ends on 11:59 p.m. on July 9, 2023 (‘Sweepstakes Period’). Participants may enter the Sweepstakes via Instagram, as described below, during the Sweepstakes Period to submit 1 Sweepstakes entry. Or, to enter the Sweepstakes without obligation, mail full name and reference Wintrust x Windy City Smokeout Sweepstakes and mail to Wintrust Financial Corporation, 9700 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 550, Rosemont, IL 60018 by 11:59 p.m. CT on 7/9/2023. Not responsible for late entries. One entry per form; limit 1 entry per person.

Instagram: To enter via Instagram, you must have a valid Instagram account and be a follower of both @WindyCitySmokeout and @Wintrust. From your Instagram account and prior to the Deadline, post an Instagram comment (“Entry Post”) which complies with the instructions specified in the Prompt Post and these Official Rules to receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry. Your Entry Post must remain publicly posted through the duration of the Sweepstakes and must comply with the Content Restrictions (as set forth below) and Instagram’s Terms of Service and Rules and Policies, available at help.instagram.com. All information submitted via the Instagram platform is subject to Instagram’s Privacy Policy, accessible at help.instagram.com, and Instagram’s Terms of Service and Instagram Rules and Policies. If you do not have an Instagram account, you may register for one, for free, at Instagram.com. Data and usage rates may apply to the download and use of the Instagram mobile application. The time of receipt of any Instagram entry shall be the time such entry is made available to Sponsor via the Instagram platform. Sponsor's computer shall be the official clock of the Sweepstakes. Any entries that do not comply with the Content Restrictions or otherwise with these Official Rules and any that are removed or hidden prior to the prize drawing date are void. Failure to follow any Sweepstakes instructions provided by the Official Instagram Account or these Official Rules may result in disqualification.

4. Prizes: One prize will be awarded.  Winners will receive two 4-day General Admission passes for Windy City Smokeout 2023 with an estimated retail value of $598. Prizes will be delivered via address collected upon sweepstakes entry from Instagram Direct Message communication.

5. Prize restrictions: Prizes are non-transferable. Federal, state and local taxes, and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of the prize not specified, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The estimated retail value of each prize is $598; and prizes not IRS 1099 reportable. TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM THE EVENT, FOOD, ALCOHOL AND LODGING ARE NOT INCLUDED. Winners may make no substitution/transfer of prize. Limit 1 prize per person.

6. Drawing: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or around 7/10/2023 from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period in accordance to the Official Rules. Determination will be conducted at Wintrust Financial Corporation, 9700 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 550, Rosemont, IL 60018.

7. Odds: Odds of being selected as a Sweepstakes winner will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

8. Winner Notification/Prize Awards: Winners will be notified by Instagram Direct Message by 7/10/2023 and do not need to be present to win. Winners may need to submit information confirming their eligibility. For a complete list of winners, please mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to Wintrust Financial Corporation, 9700 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 550, Rosemont, IL 60018.

9. Additional Terms: By participating, entrants agree: 1) the decision of the Sponsor shall be final in all respects; 2) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the Sweepstakes, and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize. By accepting a prize, winners agree to, where legal, the use of their names and/or likenesses for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation or consideration.

10. Limitations of Liability: Sponsor is not responsible for the printing of or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials or for entries that are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
