Tim Hannahs serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Wintrust Private Client and has been leading teams of wealth professionals for over 25 years.

Tim joined the firm in 2023 and leads a high performing team of investment and planning professionals who work with affluent clients to articulate and achieve their financial goals. This is accomplished by collaborating with each client to tailor a unique investment plan specific to their objectives.

Before joining the firm, Tim spent 30 years at Fifth Third Bank in a variety of leadership and client-facing roles. 

Tim graduated from Miami University with a degree in finance and earned his MBA from Northern Illinois University. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses. He serves on the Boards of Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago and The Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Tim lives in Arlington Heights.
