Wintrust is proud to announce the expansion of its Denver Commercial Banking team with the addition of Justin Carter as Senior Vice President and Team Lead. Justin brings over 20 years of financial experience to Wintrust, working with middle-market, privately held, and sponsor-backed operating companies to increase revenues, portfolio balances, and profits through his expertise in business development, relationship building, and exceptional service follow-up.

Prior to joining Wintrust, Justin spent over eight years with a regional bank as Senior Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager. Justin was responsible for attracting, servicing, growing, and maintaining middle-market relationships with revenues in excess of $25 million. His expertise in structuring complex senior secured debt financings, strategic planning, sales, and marketing, combined with his unique ability to assist clients in finding the best banking solution for their current and future needs helps facilitate client growth.

Justin is actively involved in the Denver Metro community, serving as a member of the Regis Jesuit High School audit and finance committee and chair of the investment committee, is the founding member of the Arrupe Jesuit High School junior board, and chair of the Douglas County School Board Fiscal oversight committee, along with various other board memberships. He received his Bachelor of Science in finance from Regis University.
