CEO of Wintrust Specialty Finance, David Normandin, was named Chair of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation’s Research Committee for 2025. The Foundation embraces the tagline Your Eye on the Future. Everything they do is inspired by innovative thinking to advance the $1 trillion equipment finance industry for years to come.
Normandin has been a director on the board of trustees of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation for several years. Though he is new to the committee side of the foundation’s research development, he has always been an avid contributor — assisting with several research projects with his insights and expertise.
Executive Director Kelli Jones Nienaber commented, “David is a thoughtful and strategic leader who will keep up the momentum for elevating our offerings to appeal to our broadening audience and the changing dynamics of the industry.”
“It is an honor to serve this very impressive group of the brightest minds in the business in providing research and information to help shape the future of the industry,” Normandin explained.
The foundation focuses on two main impact areas: forward-reaching research and academic outreach. In his role with the research committee, Normandin will help the foundation provide the vision for the equipment finance industry through the development of future-focused research and market intelligence.
