Jim Lentino joined Wintrust in 2017 and is responsible for the company’s risk management strategy and framework. He oversees development and execution of the second line of defense risk oversight function, which assesses risks independent of the frontline business units and complements the risk-taking activities through monitoring and reporting. Jim is responsible for ensuring appropriate identification, measurement, monitoring, and controlling of aggregate and emerging risks. He has an extensive background in risk management, with more than 30 years of experience in senior risk management positions at ABN AMRO Bank, LaSalle National Bank, HSBC, and Discover Financial Services.
